1970 clutch cable articulated piece nipple. Help
Does the nipple at the end of the articulated piece butt up against it or does the nipple slip into the pieces channel? Thanks very much.

the split collar goes into a notch at the lip of the bellhousing. looking at the picture, that would be way to the left of where it is now. pull the cable through first and slip on the collar.

That split collar is now resting on the (articulated piece lip) It will not go into that bellhousing (articulated piece) any further. My concern is that to me it should fit into that piece and not sit on the lip of it. Thanks again.
