Post Turbo Kits for 80-83 911 SC

Sorry for the post, but a number of you had e-mailed me on the turbo kit that is currently being constructed.

I wanted to give those of you who e-mailed me an update. I will have pictures soon of the prototype and the dyno sheets.

So e-mail me again, so I can update you, of the features, specs, and when it will be out.

Can you give us a quick run down on how the unit is configured? Single turbo? CIS? SSI?
Thanks.

CIS, Single turbocharger, electronic knock sensor, intercooler upgrade at a later date, fits in the stock compartment, without moving any existing items.

Why only 80-on SCs ? Mine went down years ago ( ok flog me with a wet noodle ) for a tensioner update then turned into a turbo project. The K27-13 still waiting to get replaced with something that doesn't belong on the Mulsanne before they added the chicane. That thing is just too big to use in town.

Any options ( and lower costs ) for a system that will work on a '79 euro are very welcome.

I assume the 80-on stipulation is due to the O2 sensor added to the CIS in 80. Emission concerns?

Base kit-Prototype is pretty much done, installing new exhaust today. Has been in car testing for the last 4 months. Logged 8,000 mile so far. Will dyno soon. I think it has a little too much power, while testing I seem to run out of space, dont want to ram the cars in front.

Any chance that pre-80 SC's (mine's a '79) will be able to use the kit?

Please add me to the growing list of SC owners that are interested. Have you considered a power point presentation or something like that? I only ask because I figure you could show all your number, graphs, pics even video in it. People that don't have power point could download the free viewer for it.

I going to take out to willow, some guys I know are renting the track to test their new and improve cars. As for a 79 it will work with a few slight modifications.

Imagine that an SC with too much power, what is this world coming to? I think this helps Leland's world domination plot.
