Could you please explain in more detail what they do?
Mine is 1979, If I'm not mistaken there was no oxygen sensor.

I pulled the oil gauge and there was no bulb on the top.

#1 - I don’t think it’s a bulb/lamp indicator, might be just a plug or for some other dial mounting. The gauge looks appropriate for a Sporto but also could be a replacement, the do have a date code stamp on the back.
#2 - is the EGR* or the OX indicator, if it was there it would be a red plastic lens marked as such, and fits into a bulb socket. Good chance the bulb/socket is behind the gauge just hanging. *The EGR indicator was replaced with OX of the SC. It lights up after x amount of miles (maybe 15k) to remind driver to check the emissions system and on the EGR system the lamp could be reset behind the gauge by pressing a button on a small little black box. Most remove the EGR/OX bulb simply out of annoyance and not knowing who to reset it. More of a EPA requirement than a function and it might be required certain counties of California. These are little red lens inserts are no longer available… I’ve been looking for one for sometime. I can’t say if your engine is Non-Catalyst but the gas gauge indicates Unleaded only so you may have a cat-delete exhaust or backdated with SSI ? |

It's for the overtemperature warning light for a sporto transmission. If you have a 915, it's unpopulated.
The warning light in the dash, as several have said, is for the EGR/OXS warning light (that comes on when the counter hits 30K miles to tell you to service it). ![]() ![]() ![]()

Guys, there is no little black box with the button to reset EGR light. Please check the photos. Also, I recorded the video. The EGR light lights up when the ignition is on and when I start the engine the light starts to blink. Check the link below.

According to your PET, looks like you have or had an oxygen sensor. But regardless, the little reset button box is behind the speedometer
Hope this helps, see post #6 here : EGR reset? |
