oberg/racor oil filter and other esoterica
Tidying up the loose ends on my 911T to GT-5 race car conversion....
I know the engine will go "BOOM" at some point.... would installing an oberg/racor by-pass filter befor my front coolers help me from having to replace the whole front oil cooling apparatus after my engine goes "BOOM" Does anyone have experience with placing one of these filters on the hot side of the oil cooling circuit? ( meaning before the hot oil gets to the front coolers?) Ill post about using aluminum -AN hardware for brakes seperately ty ![]() oh yea does anyone know the pressure drop across these filters?

My brother has one of those on his drag car. So far, it goes 1/4 mi. w/o any problems. It adds another layer of filtration and is easily taken apart for particle inspection.
