calibrated my torque wrenches
 

the cal van was here for work so i had them do my torque wrenches.
the handle came lose on my small one so i "calibrated" it at home and had them check it. he said it was dead on from 11lbs up to 70 and my big one was good for 70 and up.
i used a beam torque wrench to calibrate it. i had also used the bigger wrench to check the smaller one at higher ft lbs, i think like 50 or 60.
i would not suggest anyone go "recalibrate" their wrench based on this home method, but it could be a way to check to see if you may need to send them out.
