Cool It's back!!!! - pics

After a looong 6 months getting rust repaired and a paint job it came home yesterday!! Now it is time to put it back together (where did this part come from???).

You can expect several posts for help over the next few weeks.

It's a little dusty and needs reassembly but I couldn't resist sharing a couple of pics.

I would recommend armourfend for your fresh paint. Stops stone chips. I wish I had done it after my re-paint!

Wow - waiting 6 months must have seemed like a lifetime.

Good luck with the project and keep us posted on the progress.

Lookin' good, Fritz...hope your garage is heated, so you can be comfortable replacing things as the snow flies in Colorado...

Armour Fender for Flat paint?

I would recommend armourfend for your fresh paint. Stops stone chips.

I've applied the 3M film to my front (red) spoiler and it seems to work OK but I also applied it to the flat black chin spoiler and it made it too glossy.

Anybody know of a product that keeps it looking flat? To attest to the strength of this stuff ...I know I'm voiding any warranty and risking problems with the product... I've tried fingernail polish remover and steel wool to dull the finish but it didn't make mark on it.

Thanks
S.Chapman
BTW great looking paint job

Just curious, how much did the paint job cost? What all did they do (bondo, etc.)?
