Good flatbed guy in CT / New Haven area?
I need a roller in New Haven transported to my paint guy's shop in Hartford. Paint shop has a great transporter but my street/garage isn't going to allow him access. Snow doesn't help. Anyone know a good flatbed guy in the area?
Thanks

Rus, sorry but my little world is more Hartford-centric. Do you need a flatbed to take it all the way to the shop or just far enough to meet the shop's trailer/rig? If the you want to avoid the sharks in New Haven, maybe Larry (is that his name?) at the shop could recommend a Windsor Locks based flat-bed company to run down to NH and drive it North. It doesn't really matter which end of the route the truck is coming from, right...the mileage will be the same? Be forewarned that at this time of year, with the snow, tow companies are at their most blood-thirsty, price-wise. Best of luck, John

I've used Mal's in Clinton, CT. They are very good. About 25 miles from NH.

Thanks Dan - I just saw that this post was updated and I sent you an email.
911saucy the shop is Twin Brooks - recommended to me by jjeffries. Chuck the owner has been very nice to work with, or nice to talk to I should say. I have't had any transactions with him yet. He showed me around on a Saturday. Big clean shop with a nice mix of pre war (some quite high end, amelia island stuff), high class muscle and euro exotica. Lambo 350 in the booth on the day I visited. Full suite of panelbeating tools, all welding beautiful TIG work. No collision work.
