Bosch Fog Light Restoration
I'd like to repaint the interior reflectors after cleaning up some light rust, any suggestions? I see that Wurth offers both a silver and aluminum paint. The original finish is close to a satin silver...
Thanks. |

I've used aluminum duct tape to refurbish taillight reflectors. It might work well with the fog lights too. Cut and segment the tape if the reflector curves don't allow for a smooth one piece application. Not sure how it will work with the fog light optics, but you can always remove it and go with the paint if it does odd things to the light distribution.

That's an idea. Thanks. The reflector does have a compound curve, so any material will have to be segmented. I have them apart so I thought it would be easier to hit them with paint...

If you decide to go with paint I'd suggest using a hi-temp product, it probably gets pretty hot near the bulb.
