I must second that. IMHO if the Targa does not leak (and mine does not ... yet), you get the best of both worlds.

Lower it and make sure it's silver or black, black Targa band and I'm a deal. They look sinister that way.

My targa top might leak a little, but ...

Do they have a Cab in the Museum of Modern Art? NO
Do they have a Coupe in the Museum of Modern Art? NO

Do they have a Targa in the Museum of Modern Art? YES!

Your poll is flawed, should have a space for one of each

Becuse I want one of each!!

I just drove my Targa about 100 miles in the rain last weekend - after primping and polishing my car all morning

Did not leak one drop

Love it - but I also want one of each!!!!

I would like to see a choice for "best all around driving 911 but the coupe is slightly better looking."

The coupe just cannot provide the same driving experience. Take the Targa to the track and have a great time. On the way home, take off the top, hear the motor scream and have the sun and wind in your hair. The Targa is like a beautiful intelligent, woman - a woman who meets your every need.

The coupe, on the other hand is hands down the best looking 911, sleek, curvy - sexy. The coupe, however, is like beautiful girl that is only good for one thing.

Yea Paul, and thus the need for one of each.

See, its not illegal to have one of each when it comes to 911's

No diseases or anything, just plain old whoop it good and often!!

I'm with pbs911. My answer isn't offered. I think the coupes are much prettier as a pure design but I love my Targa just the same.

Exclamation Depends on your point of VIEW

From the outside -- coupe takes it.
From the inside, roof out on a sunny drive-- targa takes it.
From the inside, roof in on a rainy drive-- coupe takes it.
From the inside, on a track, or bumpy road-- coupe takes it.

IMHO...widebody targa...and lose the top. I almost forgot how to put mine back on!

Targa for sure...when you get tired of it...it does not take much to make it a cabriolet.

coupe and targa are tied for first with the cab bringing up the rear by a fraction of a point. Probably because I've never driven a 911 cab or it would be a three way.

Tie that is.

Definately the only way to go....at least here in the South where we enjoy great weather for most of the year. Topless motoring for those sunny dry fall days, yet completely PCA legal for DE. My first car was an 87 930 coupe. Replaced with 94 964 cab. Now I have an 89 Targa and have finally found my keeper....if only it had the raw acceleration of that 930....
