"...geared to go 208 mph."

Yeah, so's my lawnmower, but that doesn't mean it will come anywhere close to it.

"......not showcar condition. The car could use some overall cosmetic TLC."

Understatement of the year. That is beyond FUGLY.

I noticed that the only bid so far came from a "nighthawk films"...
Gosh, wonder what they'd want it for? One of those "over the cliff" scenes? Great car for a Halloween movie! Ronnie, loved the barfy jack-o-lantern!

It's a monster! Someone kill it!

(looks around in dismay)

Won't anyone do anything?

(people in room look away with embarrassment)

Fine, cowards, I'll take care of it myself!

(Grabs shotgun from rack. Fires several shots into its hideous front spoiler. These shots have no effects and the monster advances...)

No, don't come any further! Back, beast!

(Shotgun clicks as ammo is depleted. Throws shotgun at the 911 monster in hopes that it might slow it down... even though it never worked in the old Superman TV show)

No, no, no!!!!!

Agggggggg. Tell... 944.... I love her.... arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr....

(body slowly fades away as the would-be hero joins Obi-Wan and Yoda as spirit guides)

Solution is simple -

Take a chainsaw to that bodykit and be done with it. Maybe I'll suggest this to the seller.

Perhaps if he did take the car up to 208mph, all the fugly body parts would fly off

My computer wouldn't even load the pictures. Maybe since it's geared for 208mph, my poor old pentium couldn't catch it.

What a coincidence! My mountain bike is geared for 208MPH as well. I just need to figure out how to increase my cadence to 6000RPMs .... -- Curt

Interesting that we don't get to see a single image of that wonderful engine he's got in there...

"Reserve not met" eh?

What a surprise.

This guy, the ebay toyota celica guy (that can beat vettes and vipers) and the ebay guy selling the 912 with the red and white vinyl "custom" interior" should get together and start a
"high poorformance buy here and die here" used car business.

They amazing thing is that these cars get bids and some even get purchased. I guess beauty is indeed in the eyes and wallets of the beholders.

While out driving, I have recently seen a 79? caddy that someone had installed huge 2' high homemade bondo fins on the rear that were obviously "brush" painted. Pressed into the fins before the bondo had hardened were 50 or so round refelectors on each fin of various shapes and colors. The car was burning more oil than I was gas! I kicked myself for not having the camera!
