The 930S Wheels are HERE!

Okay, the 930S wheel test order came in today! I ordered five, and received four (still not sure why). These wheels do not have the center crest installed - they are plain. As mentioned previously if you want the crest, you will need to spend a half-hour or so installing it yourself. It's not difficult, and we will have a technical article on the install process in the very near future.

I only have four wheels at this time. Now that I have inspected them and found that they are the same wheel with the same quality level, I will be ordering a bunch more for the Christmas season. The wheels will be priced as follows:

- $249 for the wheel and hub (qty four in stock).

Optional Accessories:
- $25 for the spacer (in stock)
- $35 for the Porsche crest in gold (in stock)
- $45 for the Porsche crest in silver (in stock)
- $20 for a BMW Roundel (in stock)

I figure that people will be wanting these right away. I only have four (three available to sell - need the fourth one for the tech article). So, the first four people to email me at will get the opportunity to purchase one of these three. As a loyalty thing to the BBS, you must have more than 100 posts to get one of these four wheels.

This wheel shows a picture of a silver crest merely sitting on top of the 930S wheel center hub. It is not installed on the wheel (hence the fact that it looks angled - it is).

Wayne: I restored the original wheel on my '73 so I'm not looking for a replacement (though I do love the look of the 930s). Is the silver crest the same size (or slightly larger) than the stamped emblem at the center of an early wheel? If so, can I order it separately? (I'd love to add a little color to my all black interior.)
