Targa Top Clip Nuts????

Hey guys,

Starting the rebuild of my top in a few days and need to get some of those flat metal clip nuts that secure the black frame clips. I know several of them are rusted and the screws are broken so I'm figuring I'll need to or should replace them all. I've checked a number of places and can't seem to find them anywhere. Anyone know the correct part number and where I can get these?

Do you mean the metal plate, dual threaded holes, that sits behind the material? You might try your local Pcar tech as these seem to gather in boxes in the shops that service Porsches. Failing that I would call Darren here at Pelican: he knows just about everything.

John: Most local Car tech's don't carry stuff like that unless they do that type work and mine doesn't so that's a strike out there.

Steve: Thanks for the link but they don't have them listed there I've already checked the site.

Dan:

Check out these guys: Targa Tops

I'm told they have a good reputation, and my guess is they'll have all the parts you need. Good luck!

Scott
