911 speakers

I just bought a 2004 911 cab How do I change the front and rear speakers. With the special mounts you just can't buy after market speakers

Many folks have mounted 6 1/2" speakers in the doors after removing the factory speakers and mounts. There is a member on the list that produces a spacer/mount to fit them to the door frame, though I think he's gearing up for an additional run right now, so you may have to wait for some.

Actually, I just re read your post and see it's a 2004 model. Can't help with those as the door frame is different than the earlier cars. May want to post your question in the 996 forum.

did you try crutchfields? they have a fitting guide that will tell you what speakers they have that will fit you baby.
