JJ, zero documents.

Photo as per request with my mother, a passionate 911 lover.
Hopefully someone will recognize the car.

I guess I will pay the COA, and see what turns out.

The car is in Mill Valley, CA.

Thank you for the kind help!

Regards, Alberto

She is a cutie and the car look pretty good too :D;):D

From the VIN, your car is a RoW so I'm not sure that you would be able to get a COA but they will tell you.

If you find any sticker on the car (even paper one) post a pic of it.

Did the PO (previous owner) give you any idea where he got the car from?

Not familiar with the CA DMV but there might be a way to find previous registration (in State/out of State).

The front valence is rather distinctive, might want to double the post on your local forum; California / SouthWest - US (AZ/NV) - Pelican Parts Technical BBS

Ciao

The reason I was asking for your location is like in the case of the COA that RD911T mentioned below are for car that were delivered in North America.

FYI, my '73 T-V is a RoW car, and I was able to obtain the CoA from PCNA. The previous owner believes the car may have been originally delivered in Germany. If that is the case, does anyone know how to obtain a vehicle registration history from Germany?

I did request the registration history from Texas, but the only record in the report is mine. I know the car has been in TX for at least 10-15 years, but apparently the previous title transfer must be older than the records that they have available.

Hello JJ,
What is a RoW?
The previous owner, a business in SoCal, did not disclose a thing.

I thought all S' valances were the same. Why is mine distinctive?

The only stickers are the gold ones on the body, on the lip where the hood receiver is at, with the engine specs.
I wish I had more information to help with...

Regards, Alberto

Rest of World cars. Car that were not "adapted" for the North American market. Usually related to anti pollution, unleaded gas.

If you bought it from a business they might not be too enthused about about sharing any info but I would ask them if the car was from California. I would definitely post a pic of it on California / SouthWest - US (AZ/NV) - Pelican Parts Technical BBS on Title the post "Do you recognized this 911S E Series?"

As for the valance it was distinctive to me but you might be right and all the S have that valence.

I can send you the pages related to your model from the Red Book, PM me an e-mail address.

Cheers

JJ
