BMW 2002tii - a few people had wanted to see pics a while back

Of course this is more appropriate over on the 2002 Board, so here is the link....

Post a pic of your '02 or 3.0 here!

I just added a post at the bottom with a few pics with the car mostly complete (bonnet AWOL).

Haha

I just picked it up from the panel shop. It now has its bonnet (hood). Looks alright (its fibreglass).

One less (major) thing off the list...

Cam, your car looks good. Thought you might like to see the 2002 turbo that was at the show at the BMW plant this past weekend.

Does it say "2002" backwards on the front spoiler so the guy in front can look in his mirror and clearly read what's about to pass him?

Thanks guys!

Cosmetics are finally done now - I put the replica sick on trim around the new bonnet and peeled off all the red/blue/blue striping (easier than redoing the bonnet).

Looks pretty good.

Just need to replace a couple of low-pressure brake hoses and bolt in some interior crap. A last tune-up and scrutineering on Sunday.

Boy am I nervous...

The 2002 Turbo script on the car in the picture is reversed so it can be read in a rear view mirror. I want to get a similar looking script with "bohica racing" made up.

Yep. I understand the script was soon discontinued by BMW since it was considered too "bling". If only they could see the state of the auto industry now....
