Durant mirror

Question: Is it possible to install a Durant mirror on the door of a '75 911 using the same holes as what would already be there after the flag mirror is removed? I noticed where the mirrors are sold, they are advertised as for up to '73 fitment only.

If the mirror on the 75 was a stock stainless mirror, the base of a Durante mirror will fit. If it was a later flag mirror with a painted base, neck, and back, the the holes will not match.
