Help with 1969 911E blinker not working

I have a hand-me-down car that I don't know much about but I do know how to work on things get a little guidance this car was my fathers passed to me.

The right blinkers have stopped working I think I have a short
I have pulled the correct fuse and it keeps blowing
Every time I use turn signals.
I can't find the flasher to see if that can be replaced I don't know if it's in the front of the dash or in the luggage area.
My thoughts are that the switch is bad but I wanted to replace the less expensive parts before I moved onto the switch.
What it's doing right now right side doesn't work left side does and the turn signals on the speedometer gauge blink at the same time I have read somewhere that it was encouraged to change the flasher.

I would like to thank for your Help in advance.

Fraternally Mark,

Mark, congratulations that seems a very original car, treasure it.
The flasher and turn signals relay is behind the fuel level gauge and if it is still the original one then it looks like a long aluminum cylinder. Part number is: 914.618.303.11. To reach it I removed the RPM gauge on my 1970 911T. The gauges have nothing more than the rubber ring holding them in place, so to get these out you need to pull them towards the steering wheel or push these from inside the trunk.
However, I would first look for a short near by both the front and rear right turn signal bulbs. Easy things first, I would also replace the right side light bulbs.
