Can you identify these ground cables?

I do not recall where these two grounds go so I am hoping someone can remind me. For perspective the bigger one is about 6 inches long and 2/3 the width of the trans to body ground.
Thanks for your assistance.

- Chris

On my 81 on the inside of the left rear inner fender there is a ground lug welded in. If I remember, it's about in the middle vertically and closer to the rear seat wall of the car than the rear bumper. Not by a huge amount.

One end of the larger strap attaches there. I believe but could easily be wrong the other end attaches to the aluminum tray that holds the relays and fuses.

Bob, Thanks for your response. I have that ground lug in my 69's as well. I believe that the smaller wire was actually on that panel and may very well be the one that goes where you describe rather than the large one. Maybe someone with a 69 will chime in her.

Thanks again,
Chris

The small pig tail is for the earth from your electrical panel to the main earth on the left side near the CDI if fitted.

The larger one looks like the earth from the engine case to the back of the alternator
