68 Sporto gas tank

What should I do with this? Tank out if my 68 Sporto and is original. All seems very rusted and non repairable.

I ruined some race fenders without checking first. Don't want to do it again.


Was going to to trash it but wanted to make sure that was best.

That is what I was thinking as well.
I ruined some famous A=Z racing fenders due to media blasting without knowing. Did not want to do it again.
