Car hauler
I am still looking to ship a 914 and an engine on a pallet from Boulder to Durango
(325 miles). The weather is clear and I'd like to do it in the next few days. Open hauler ok. Please PM me. |

Oh man I have...the landscape is filled with brokers, looking for drivers. Nobody with a truck and trailer looking for a day trip down and back. I'm not shipping a Carrera GT from coast to coast needing an enclosed trailer. Open trailer at a reasonable price would work.

Years ago I had same dilemma, no flatbed or hauler would or could schedule a pickup in MN to IL, and cost was well into the thousands. More remote or off the highway, the higher the rate.
I rented a U-Haul car trailer and made the round trip myself in one day around 500 mi. My time with gas and trailer rental was peanuts maybe $200 with lunch stop, compared to the car hauler-broker costs. Plus all the spam and texts for weeks thereafter. CO being mountainous probably a challenge this time of year but may be the reasonable solution. Plan a Sat or Sun departure and make a day of it , early a.m. start & get back in the late evening. You may even find a reliable driver with a pickup working at the U-Haul looking for a weekend job. |

You might try a local car auction house.
Call them, ask for their transportation department, they usually have folks they use on a weekly basis and might recommend to you. Do "The Google" or whatever. Should get ya closer. Good Luck! |
