1969 911E blinker
So I have traced back all the way to headlight switch do these go bad overnight .
I just need direction on testing it before I purchase a new one . Anyone Familiar with the procedure on testing this? My problem is when the light is pulled on the fuse blows checked all wiring witch leads me to believe it's the switch itself .. Do they ground out? |

So with all the wires disconnected from the switch except for the 12V feed it blows a fuse when activated?

Don't disconnect the switch. Just leave it off and measure for ground at each pin of the switch. The ones that read as direct grounds are the ones you need to trouble shoot. If you are not sure (low resistance)...look to see if it is a circuit to a light bulb. Remove the bulb and it should go to high resistance.
