Anyone from AZ going to the DE at Firebird this weekend?

Is it worth it to go as a spectator (my car is still on the mend)?

I went as a spectator once. I had to talk my way into the place because I wasn't a PCA member. Once I got in, I was treated like a red headed step child.

I've had more fun watching paint dry.

I went to a PCA event at Firebird last year. Got in with no questions. Everyone was friendly to me and my daughter.

Be aware that you have to cross the track to get in. If your timing is bad you could have to wait up to 20 minutes to get in and (obviously) can only leave once the session is over.

Are you looking at the November calendar? I didn't think there was a DE this weekend.

Lee, The new Panorama has a DE event listed at Firebird East for Oct 26-27. I haven't called to see if it was still going on ( I live 5-10 minutes away and figured I might just do a drive by and stop if anyone is out).

They also list Nov 1-3 Phoenix Flight 25 and Nov 17 DE at PIR.

Checked the PCA/AZ website and they don't have this weekends DE listed (Maybe cancelled due to lack of interest. I plan to call later today)

The website also lists the PIR DE the weekend of Nov 23 or 24 (can't remember which day).
