I am hoping to find the current owner of this car. It is now a white and blue RS replica and was shown at the 2009 Carmel by the sea concourse. Pics below. Perhaps if you let folks know why you are looking for it, they may be a bit more willing to put up their hand and say that they (or their buddy) has it. I personally wouldn't tell someone on the board that I didn't know that I had a specific car if they were asking for it. I would want to know more.... Just a thought....

Great idea Guards Red. I am looking for this car because my father bought it new at Northlake Porsche when I was 3 years old. Now I collect early 911's and I have always wanted my father early 911. It is the first 911 I can ever remember. My father would work on it every weekend, changing the muffler or the ducktail... I got in a ton of trouble for beating on the side of the car with a spoon because I thought I was "working on it also". There is the story. Thanks for listening. Tate

About 4-5 years ago. I remember the white/blue combo and being told that this had been an Adam Carolla car.
You might try calling the dealer and asking to speak with the owner Walter. He should recall the car.

I completely understand. Found my Dad's car (he bought in 1975 and gave away in early 1990's) 2 years ago in a warehouse in Daytona Beach all apart. Had it restored and gave it to him on his 78th BDay. (Wasn't quite complete - but enough for the BDay surprise. Months later actually finished it).
