My last (I hope) exhaust question...
I have decided to stick with a stock 993 exhaust in my '83 SC conversion. The motor is a '97 993. I want to keep the stock headers and cat. The cat is a dual in-dual out and sits where the muffler hangs on an older car.
I would like to find a pair of very small mufflers that I could attach to the cat outlets. Maybe a small muffler/outlet tip unit? Does anyone make something like that? Thanks for your patience with this slow moving project. ![]()

I think supertrapp makes some really small muffler tips.

I doubt you will be able to find anything that small. On my car there is only 4 inches maybe from the cat outlets if you cut them off to the rear valance. I had 4.5" stainless tips welded on my cat with a couple inches of mandrel bent pipe to angle them downward. It may work for you though--I really didn't research finding supershort mufflers--I doubt that anything that short will muffle any sound significantly so I would just go with some tips.
