Anyone near Sugar Grove Ohio

I'm interested in a Lotis Elise That's near Sugar Grove Ohio. Is there someone that can take a look at this car before I purchase it? It would be much appreciated, worth a Allen Brothers steak from me. I'm still waiting to hear from the owner.

It's almost 3 hours from me. If I find a Skid loader down there to possibly buy I'd take a look at it for you but I don't have any leads so far.

I'm in Newark Oh. Sugar Grove is about an hour south of me. Not an expert on Lotus, but could look at it over the weekend if you can wait. That is assuming we don't get snowed on again.

Keep us posted as to when it can be checked out. It's two-ish hours for me but my schedule is not as rigid as Warrens. You don't want to pull the trigger without someone smelling it's breath beforehand.

That website is shady. The 911's on there are all cars posted on other sites. There are a bunch on there for 10-15,000 cheaper than on other websites. The same exact cars and same pictures. That means they are all scams. When things look too good to be true, they usually are. Take a look at the Porsches... Clearly scams. There are more $14,000 Porsches than you can shake a stick at. Even a mint coupe for $5,800.

I found the exact same 1988 911 Cab M491 listed for $19000 and then $35000. One listing was in Louisiana and the other was in Fla. WTF? They used the same picture.

That car may be for sale but be sure that you find a way to contact the actual owner. See if it is listed on other sites. Also on 2005 Lotus Elise for sale ($ 14,000.00) in Sugar Grove, Ohio United States
and here with a phone # AutoSearchFind.com

Seems to be a veteran track car.

Fly into Columbus and go to see the car yourself if you really are interested and hear back from the owner. That way, you'll know what you're buying. Better to be out the airfare and car rental than to be out the purchase price. Otherwise, have a PPI done at a recognized dealer or shop (not one that the owner recommends). Or perhaps contact someone through the Lotus Corps that may know the car.

Too many scammers out there looking to make a shady buck.

Use a company like Escrow.com to act as a middleman to handle the transaction. Split the fee with the seller... explain it will protect both seller and buyer. If he doesn't want to use a 3rd party escrow agent, he's probably a crook.
