Body color wheel wells back to 73.. some of the later 72's had it also.

Oh No!!! My car is incorrect!! I painted my wheelwells satin black awhile back. Now they are dirt colored since heaven forbid, I actually drive my car IN THE RAIN!!

Black wells look better, unless your car is black, in which case red looks very cool.

That wheel well was driven over 400 miles in the rain and still looks like that. And I didn't need to booger up my wheel wells with black paint.
