Aero Mirror for Flags

I have electric flag mirrors on a 911 3.2. Can electric 993 aero mirrors be swapped out easily and retain electric control or does it require significant modification, holes in the body that need to be filled, etc.

Our host has the Aero mirrors (powered) for $670+ but this does not include the actual mirror, just all the housing and wiring. Where might I procure the actual mirrors?

People have gone to a glass shop and had the mirrors cut. You can search around for some used units or buy new from some source. $670 is a lot of money (not including paint) just for a look. Some people find the entire assembly used and save money. The flags don't look that bad on an SC or Carrera. Now a 964 with flags looks bad. People swap out the 964 flags, but personally I don't mind the flags on the older models.

I did this a while back see Aero Mirror Install - Experiences?

I still have a set of the wiring conversion modules on the shelf if someone needs them.
