Zenith manifolds with Weber carbs

I'm looking to make the move to Weber carbs from my Zeniths on my 1970 2.2T soon to be 'E'.

Can I use the Zenith manifolds and linkage?

Also, what color was the engine shroud on 1970 911E?

Thanks!
-Dan

I am having the engine rebuilt to 2.2E spec and now is the opportune time to add Webers if desired. From what I hear the Webers are supposed to be a better carb and easier to adjust. I personally believe that people recommend them more simply because they have more experience with them. I'm still debating whether or not to make the switch.

On the Green engine shroud color, what Green is it exactly?

Dan,
I kept my Zs during my rebuild and have been happy with the outcome. AQuitBoom who is on this forum has some on a rebuild of a 3.0 I think. Rebuild kits and all the jetting are still available from sources and AQB is very knowledgable about setting them up. You may want to drop him a line or maybe he will chime in. That way that money could be used elsewhere in your project. Just a thought.
