From a wrecked/totaled car? I really don't know...sure stinks to high heaven though. But hey, Southern Cal has it's share of pretenders...cars & people both. This must be legal, somehow.

I had a Beck Spyder and it was fun! There are great(accurate) repro data plates out there. I needed to use one here in Hawaii to register the car as a Porsche, even tho it really wasnt one, the stupid idiots at the DMV dont know!

Dont you just love the slotted wood screws that someone used to screw the dataplate on with! At least they could have riveted them on like the factory.
Ferrari red Connolly leather! I suppose its going to be called a Ferrari, Jag or roller next? At least they could have put dual carbs on the motor and let it flow a bit. Very interesting excercise but sure needs some TLC and a good mechanic to massage it a bit... Joe

"The vulnerable 4-cam motor most commonly used has been substituted here with an ultra-reliable Type 1 flat four power plant."
Hmmm. I wonder what kind of chassis it's built on....

That is one ugly VW kit car.
To each their own I guess. Not for me.
