Introduction Photo and Video
 

Hi All,

I've been on Pelican for a few years now, I recently purchased a G50 Carrera, so figured now is as good a time as any to say Hi.

I'm originally from San Diego, about three years ago I moved to NYC. Ironically enough the car I purchased is from Hawaii.

I've owned and tracked S2000 for the last 10 years, but it was only a matter of time before I got into a 911. My roommate in college had a 69T that I fell in love with.

I picked up Gisele from Long Beach last Thursday and immediately went for a cruise down the PCH.

Here she is the first time I saw her in person at Matson shipping. :eek:

The next day I took her to my good friend's shop (Philip Thearle Autowerks) in Santee so we could put her in the air and take peek under her skirt. Car was extremely clean, no surprises, and I was a happy camper. Immediately after she went for a thorough wash.

And here she is cleaned up.

The next day (Saturday) I took her to Palomar Mtn. for a proper spanking. She performed flawlessly. Oil temp, pressure, all good, and a hoot to drive.

We will be at Buttonwillow next weekend (Sunday March 8th) with Speed Ventures before she gets loaded on a truck and makes her way to NYC.

Hope to meet some of you guys at Buttonwillow perhaps.

Side Bar: You know this I know, but If I may, keep your thumbs out of the spoke area. Nothing worse than having the steering wheel snap back on you if you lose your rear end and/or ditch it. Ask me how I know :eek: I was in a wrist brace for 12 weeks but I still re-skinned my sport seats :rolleyes:

You're right, I need to work on that, right hand especially.

I do have a helmet that fits her, but I don't think she'll be into it.

Congrats on the '87. Looks like a nice ride. That was a great road you were on there in CA. Gotta love it when you catch up to a motorcycle and he pulls over to let you scream on by. Only heard it briefly in your video during initial start up but Gisele has a rich throaty voice & sounds like she can really sing!

When the weather gets warmer back here on the East coast, take Gisele on I78 West to my neck of the woods here in PA and she can meet my ride, Flex & we'll straighten some twisties.

Wow your car looks awesome! Enjoy her!! Great video too, the music wasn't bad either.
