new seat

Hi Guys,
many customers had asked us for a "Singer" style seat,we couldn't go with all the electrics,so we went with the original Recaro Rallye II and re-engineered it.
We will have it at the LA LitShow and at the PhoenixClub swap meet.
See you there

headrests

Hi Bob, It was too late to finish yesterday...yes can be fitted with any of our headrests. We also offer black or chrome headrest grommets.Weight will be more than 20 lbs, due to the steel frame fiberglass composite construction. But didn't weigh it yet...will do so tomorrow.

What are all the grommets in the seat back for? Are they for cooling/ventilation or is that just some sort of styling feature?

grommets

thank you, well the grommets were used in the seats for ventilation back in the says in the race seats. As we have layers of foam so that the race seats from once are our comfortable lasting driving seats of today, they are more stylish or statement. We place them between pleads so that the material is not so stressed and that the seems are not cut, also we place them further towards the back of the seats, so in case you drive with shorts on a hot day you wouldn't have some uncomfortable hot metal rings against your bare skin.

we just weighted the seat.
with a structural steel frame, fiberglass back and side covers, the duralastic belts and the hinge mechanism and in the heavier leather we are at 29lbs incl the upholstered headrest foam.I will weigh the original Recaro against it with covers and foam and let you know.

Thank you for the kind words.
For those who haven't been there, the LA Lit Show is held on Saturday 7th at the Hilton,Century Blvd-near the LAX.
A cool show with the newest in our classic Porsche community, memorabilia, parts, accessories and old and new friends...
The next day is the PhoenixClub swap meet in Anaheim. There you can find some needed used parts as well....
Our hosts is at both locations presented as well.
