What kind of paint?

I know that porsche used glasurit 22 to paint my 1980sc should I use that for re spray or is there something better ? I'm not a paint expert and have never sprayed single stage before. Its going to be a bare metal respray and I'm thinking of using an epoxy primer unless there's a better option.

Porsche962, Freddy Hernandez, Fishcop are among the best.

Porsche962 is most responsive. Do not say the word Sikkens to him.

Glasurit 21 Line was the paint used. Sometime in the later 90's they had to take lead out of it and reformulated to 22. It is awesome paint.

Do lots of reading. Especially Freddy Hernandez's painting 101.

You can do it. If you can't, there is a dude that can spray better than you that will do it in your garage.

Trust me, you will have plenty of time to research. These are not cars you can rush, if you do it right AND you are a non-pro.

Double your cost estimate and triple your time estimate. It is extremely rewarding.

I actually visited Freddie at his shop on Friday. Freddie is very sold on Glasurit, won't use anything else.
