Franken Backdate getting close to done
Doing an RSRish backdate from a 79 SC and have come to the issue of what wheels to use. I am tempted to go with the Braid 17X9 and 17X11 in RSR finish, but $4K into the money pit is not sitting too well and I do not know much about Braid in general. I will take all feedback and advice.

Any pics of car? 4k seems steep for repro. Have you looked into other brands and then just refinishing them to rsr look.

Doing a complete write up when complete, its a long read. This started when I bought someone elses project here two years ago (GaryR) I believe. I cant find 15 or 16 11s anywhere used that are not 5 digits but I may just move to 17X8s and 17X9s euromeister instead to save money.

There is a set on the classifieds right now that need a center replaced. I would make an offer.

What about Group 4 wheels? Their Campagnolo reps are very accurate and Camps where used by race teams in period, I've seen pics of ST's running them.
