Javadog - Yeah, that was after they were just mounted and installed on the car. The next step was to remove the manufacturing markings as you indicated. I can appreciate balancing on the inside and outside reduces weights overall, but at my age, the easier I can make it to clean a wheel the better.

If you left the lug nuts off, it would be way easier to get your fingers in those tight spots near the center cap.

That was always the hardest part of a Fuchs wheel to clean…
