Heater Flapper Cable
I need to replace one and wondering if there is a way to do without undoing the emerge brake etc..could I use the old cable to feed the new cable into the cockpit and attach or do i still need to essentially remove everything?

remove everything.
fairly basic. taking a seat out to make for easier access. be careful with the fasteners on the flapper. they tiny. |

Is there a good thread someone might suggest for this procedure? I’m terrible with the search function on this website for some reason.

its in the manual..what I am trying to do is see if i can use the old cable to feed the new cable through the various openings and protective sheathing without undoing the ER brake which is a real PITA
but, if i have to, then I will The procedure is roughly
thats it in a nutshell |

I managed to feed the new cable into the tunnel from the flapper end, so didnt have to remove the emerge clamp. Seat was out, accessed the tunnel after removing carpet/gaters etc, tied the new cable on and now have a functioning flapper...all fixed now as PO had installed a cable that was too short to allow the flapper to close correctly. about 60 minutes.

i've done it a few times.
i never had to do more than shove the cable thru from the lever side. once things were disassembled. |

Yes, but in this case i didnt want to remove the emerge brake connection..so a reverse method was much easier
