SWB cornering and rear swaybars

When cornering the inside rear tail lifts.

Everything is new. The front sway bar is stock.I understand one needs to look at the situation holistically. I also appreciate its old suspension tech.

However I was curious as to whether a rear sway bar would help things? I remember for the 356's the jury was out as to whether they helped.

Any advice would be appreciated.

The rear inside tire lifts? That's odd, typically if there is a front and no rear sway the front inside will lift. I think there is some strange torsion bar sizes on your car. I have heard mostly that a rear is not needed and that adjusting the torsion bar size is better for swb cars.

Lift

I should be more specific. The tyre doesn't actually come off the ground. It's just the back comes right up and she leans heavily. I was hoping to try to keep the tail more level. I hope this makes sense.

Adding a rear bar will flatten the car's cornering attitude as well as help neutralize its balance and I highly recommend them.

How old are your dampers (shocks)?

Shocks are new? What brand? Did you compare the length of the new and old rear shocks?
Were the torsion bars replaced?

Rear

Almost everything is less than 12 months old. Torsion bar is the only original item.

Also, what's the best one to buy?
what size?
How does it mount given my car doesn't appear to have any mounting points?

This is a street car with occasional session in the hills.

Thanks
