Parking Brake boot upgrage ( F body) ?

I have an F body 911 and am trying to figure out an upgrade to the rubber boot for the parking brake that is prone to ripping and also, in my opinion, not attractive. Has anyone come up with a viable option?

I bought a leather surround years ago which covers the entire brake assembly. At the same time I bought a leather cover for the shifter rubber boot.

Redline makes shift, hand brake and seat belt mounting leather boots. Here's a picture of them as installed in my "74 Targa. Ordered black with double Lime Green stitching to match the car.

From the picture, it looks like the heater and throttle levers are completely exposed. Is that accurate?

Car’s in for paint so not accessible. I don’t remember them not having a slot to go through.
