Seat Belt warning light flashing!

Should I worry about this? I was driving around, and the seat belt warnig light was going on and off for a few minutes, then it stoped. I had my seatbelt on while this was happening, I also released the seat belt and put it back on, the light flashed a couple more times and stopped. The car is a 79SC.

I think you might want to check out your voltage regulator, I had the same problem although I have an 84. It has to do with the voltage spiking up to something like 16 volts.
