Moving a car to VEGAS, baby! From Napa -

Hey guys -

I have a buyer for my car who lives in VEGAS, and we're trying to find creative ways to get the thing delivered from Napa (creative = cheap!).

Anyone headed south from NorCal anytime soon who can trailer a car that direction? Even getting the thing to LA area helps -

Vegas is fun - I'm sure there is some gambling money we can throw in to sweeten the deal!!

I know it is a long shot - but this group has amazed me plenty in the past!!!

cheers

I drove mine from there to vegas by way of highway 1. That was creative and fun. Fly to wherever and drive it home.

Drive it. Take 50 to Tahoe, over the Kingsbury Grade and down 395 out the bottom. Will take you two days. Worth it if the buyer will wait for clean roads.

That is one option - and I like the Napa to LV via hwy1 - now THAT is a creative route!!

My buyer does not want to extra miles on the engine - hence the trailer options we are exploring.

Matt, 395 does not quite get you there - but I do like that road. A trip thru Death Valley in the wintertime would be super-cool....

Thanks guys!!

Tell the buyer to either be cheap or be picky. Can't be both

No it doesn't, but there are 4 or 5 ways you can cut over, and why I left it open. Personally I like the early exit at 6 through Tonopah and down the ET Highway. That would miss Death Valley though.

I put 35k mi on my car the first year I lived here driving back and forth to my old home in Berkeley. I've done pretty much every route possible down there.
