Porsche Crest 911T fuel pump

My OEM fuel pump p/n 911 608 107 00 for a 71 911T is not working. Can I replace the pump with a Porsche pump for a 911 E/S 169 to 1973 with an appropriate pressure regulator? You help is appreciated.

Well you could, but I bet you would find plenty who would swap a good carb pump for a good MFI pump given the price. You are spoiled for choice of replacement aftermarket pumps that will feed a carb 911 engine, not so much for MFI. I only know about the Zims MFI aftermarket pump and it looks nothing like a Bosch pump.
