friend bought early S for 17k$
Buddy down the street just bought a 1970 911S that is beautiful with low miles (~60,000), sports seats, correct-original MFI engine, gold paint, all original..... for $17,000 (the steal of the century).
Anyone interested in the details?

Man, I'd love a really great early S! Anything from '67 on would be nice. While mind bending torque is good, I like the way my 3.2 comes up on cam, so I can only imagine what an early 2.0 or 2.2 S engine must be like.
I remember when driving around with my wife in the car she asked if something was wrong/broken because I was in a lower gear with 4K showing on the tach. Man would she love an "S" motor.

Doug:
Did you get any details from the owner of the light metalic blue 73 S at the last AX? I didn't even catch his name.....just the fact that he had just bought it and the shipping co. boogered up the rear lid. I think he said it was an Euro model and he got it from Kentucky. Is it gonna rain for Rainbonnet? Pictures....send pictures.
