Hershey / LA lit comparison ????
 

I want to ask the people who has attended the two shows / swap meets how these compare. Which one has more attendance, more vendors, more parts ?
Do you recommend to go to Hershey ?

If the weather agrees, Hershey is 5-10 times the size of the lit show and phoenix club meets combined. But most years it rains, so it's only 3 times the size :)

Hershey with good weather is like Porsche Heaven on Earth.

Are there vehicles for sale at Hershey?? I plan on being there, just wondering if I will run across anything.

Yup.....many are for sale.

Ha that's funny... weather is always unpredictable at Hershey.. and forecast this far out are even more laughable! :eek:

That being said, I've been there over the years and experienced rain, sunshine, snow, and hail.. sometimes all in the same day.. and... and.. Although its always a good time.

When they say the Largest All Porsche Swap in the Country.. that's exactly what it is hands down!! Parts for sale, cars for sale, and lots of cars displayed.

The literature meet on the other hand is really nice as well.. but it ain't Hershey!!
If you've never been.. then go!

Weather at the big H...bring a coat, long and short pants then by 0700 you know what to wear. Oh, and bring an umbrella.

On boost +1 I have left the house when its foggy got to Hershey it was fog then rain then cleared up became sunny. Everyone left sun burnt or had tans that same day. Weather is crazy.

Hershey buys tend to be resold…… at the Lit Show….

No comparison between the two one is in a hall, the other a parking lot…..

At Hershey you can buy chrome door handles for $30 each in great shape, chrome / alum window molding for $100 all around, including door frames, 400 mm stock leather steering wheels in good condition for $100, air/heat controls for $25 in excellent condition, whipper arms for$15 a set in great shape, newly made orange bar hood crest with 901 on back side for $35. Green dot Bilstein jack in perfect condition for $25. Only at Hearshey.... That is what I paid last year !

+1 on the Hershey swap meet being bigger. Unfortunately, Hershey will never have the Friday/Saturday shop crawl that is so much a part of the LA Lit Show weekend.

Oh, I don't know. You could always drop by Dennis Frick's Europa Macchina in nearby Lewisberry...
