Weird headliner question

Hey guys!

I'm doing the headliner on my 1980 911sc sunroof car. http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/15...2552246ee3.jpg

I have it clamped up and it's straight in the car everything it looking pretty good other then a wrinkle from being folded but should go away with a hair dryer and maybe letting it rest over night.

My question is, how many inches from the back window should the zipper be? Mine is maybe 3-4 inches away. Along with that question is how about the seems on the C pilers? How far down should those be? I just want everything to be as proper as possible. http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/15...239324cb63.jpg

I don't have the c pilers ready to go yet but that's about where they are.

Thanks for the help as always guys!

The zipper is there to access the sun roof drive. Just make sure it provides the access you need. My seams came out to be rearward of the B pillars.
This was on my 1980 SC

On my '82 it's about 2.5" measured from the middle of the zipper to the edge of the window rubber. Or 3" from the window edge. Mine has no seems so can't help you there.

Alright. Thanks guys. Rsbob. That's about where mine is so I think I'll do it like that
