IT'S ALIVE PART DEUX! 1975 Carrera with 3.6 vario ram ( and afew other bits)
|
Looks and sounds awesome! Perhaps a little more information on your build is in order...
|
wow, nice work, love the suspension work, and that center exit exhaust heat shield looks very nice.
|
Holy cow that's a really nice car. Done very well.
|
Very nice!
Going to have a hard time sneaking up on wabbits with that exhaust though.... |
What muffler are you running and do you happen to know the inlet diameter??
VERY nice work BTW! |
Beautiful car. Love the Sepia Brown.
|
Thanks for the feedback!
And you offend me my good man! It's Cockney Brown, not that ugly Sepia Brown. ( just kidding). If you go find Part One "ITS ALIVE" on the forum it has lots of pics. It's a real 75 Carrera I've owned since 1981. A former concours winner, a national SCCA autox winner, a most recently PCA G/H stock winner that I'm taking back to a street car. I kept all the original parts and everything can bolt back on. The 2.7 motor, the bumpers, the door panels, the tank and such, Now it has a 3.6 vario ram with custom Rothsport headers and a real GT3 cup exhaust, custom MCS double adjustable remote reservoir shocks and struts with bump steer kit. lowered and camberred spindles, big red brakes, Charlie bars (soon to have ERP blade type adjustable bars) ERP bushings, spring plates. The rear bumper was modified for the GT3 exhaust , the original stock 75 factory Recaro sports seats are gong back in after the having been redone by Autobahn in San Diego along with the complete RS lightweight interior in cork color. A Wevo shifter connected to a Brian Copans rebuilt 915 with a Guards LSD, new axles with some tricky bits inside, an Earls front cooler with custom KMR shrouding. Helion carbon brake ducts and hoses are on the way along with a TRE motorsports ABS lip spoiler. Rothsport quick release wheel hub on my "lucky" Sparco race wheel (like the radio buttons used for the horns?)Lots of carbon bits here and there fab'ed by KMR. And much more. All restored, painted, fabricated and assembled by Kelly Moss Racing! |

build looks amazing, more pics please.
|
Very nice, it sounds awesome!
Mid years rock! |
She is on the ground!
|
Nice! I gotta catch up with the build.
|
Very cool!!!
To me, the color is the best part of the car. It's so unique. |
The last little bits are driving us crazy! The new carbon brake cooling ducts look great but they hit the brake line tabs when the car is on the ground:confused: !!

I'm having some of these made. These are top quality made by an OE spec manufacturer.
An elegant solution to eliminate ugly hoses and tire rub. Only $1,250 for all four pieces, plus shipping. If anyone would also like a set please let me know ASAP!! jmvansicklen@gmail.comhttp://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1431472584.jpg |
