Difference(s) in fenders in pre/post 1970 cars
Hi guys - doing some research and it appears that there may be a difference on pre/post 1970 front fenders? Restoration Design has a cut off at 1970 which has me wondering. I'll call our host here later this morning, but any coaching for me?
Thanks!

As far as I know the difference lies pre and post 1968 when they went from no flare to slight flare. Certainly the fenders on my 69 and my 70 appear the same.

Ah, was the cut over at the start of the '68 model year?
Thanks!

No - the small flared fenders began at the start of the '69 model year and coincided with the change to the longer wheelbase.

The horn grille and turn signal also change with the change in fenders from 68 to 69
