ENGINE DROP: Need Some Help/Pointers in ATTLEBORO/Prov area

Planning on a drop in the near future (Probably at end of summer, trying to get everything lined up etc) and could use a helping hand (Very leery of tranny dis-connect and re-connections comfortable with everything else mostly.

Also: Be looking to rent/borrow engine stand/yoke too, let me know, much appreciated.

LOU, I appreciate the offer- Where in mass are you? I'll see what happens the closer I get. Definitely could use a second set of hands though. sean

CARRERASR: You make it sound so easy, Feel like I'm already starting to hyperventilate. My biggest drawback is I'm in an outside storage/tent space its big 20x20 but no cement floor which is a problem. Damn that head stud!!!!!

Sean,

I am located in Chelmsford. Just let me know if you need a hand when the time comes. I too have an 83 sc.

We can exchange info via pm.

I'm about 1/2 hour away and dropped engine last spring.
Sounds like you will have a lot of hands available
One good thing about living in an area with crappy weather, our maintenance season is much longer

it is easy and fun, try timing yourself the second

try to get 2 sheets of 4x8 plywood, you heed to get the back of the car up about 34 inches at thr rear reflector and take off the rear bumper gives better clearance http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1427846855.jpg
run jack stands on inner torsion tube
