Harness guide bar ideas/solutions
I'm in the process of installing an Autopower roll bar in my 86 coupe.
The existing harness attachment bar is significantly higher that it's supposed to be, I'm not sure if it's an older bar (bought it used) and that's how they did it back then or what, but I need to fab something up to bring the harness attachment point about 6 inches below where it is now to maintain the correct geometry. Current thought is to weld or possibly bolt a bar at the correct height to the main posts going down to the floor, such that it can sit just behind the diagonal bar. Anybody ever run into this before? Looking to see what others may have done. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1427802379.jpg Thanks, Audi |
