Talking Daddy Has a New Toy!!!

Today I came home with a 1976 911S with 97k original one-owner miles. The owner even had the original window sticker. Very straight clean car. I have been smiling for 4 hours straight now. My jaw is in serious pain.
Here are a few photos I thought I'd share with you.

Jimmy,
Congrats on the new car, it's a beauty! Are there really any ugly ones though?! I have a buddy here in town with a white '76 911 coupe and mine's a '74 coupe. I looked at a '74 targa just before buying my coupe and really decided more on the overall condition of the car...lots of times I think I'd like to have that big hole over my head, though!

Have fun!
Ryan

Congrats! Very nice looking car. You made a wise choice. You know, Targa’s value will increase by at least 90% in the next few years.

Thanks for the compliments,,,I had a tough choice as well,, Found a nice coupe and another nice targa, but both had multiple owners and I stumbled opon this one with one final look through the Autotrader to make sure I did not miss one. Turns out, I had missed this targa and luckily it worked out. Has less miles than my 87 Cab and the Fuchs are much shinier. Guess the 87 needs some TLC

Epster--looks like a great car, with the 16 in. wheels and fogs etc.
Just wait till the knockers get at you for having a "leprosy model 2.7 pending disaster!!!"------ Ive stopped posting about the 2.7
rebuild I,m doing as it seems that anyone with one of these either
got tricked into it or is just stupid.
Congratulations-------Enjoy

Sweet car!

Too bad my mother doesn't subscribe to this BBS. She would say, "Oh my, that's a lovely car! And, look at that house! Just beautiful. Couldn't he have raked the leaves before he took the photo?"

I quit raking leaves last year It was frustrating to rake all the leaves and 1 day later have to do it again. Now I just go for that Autumn Look

Good-looking car. I have owned my '77 for over a year now and mine had 103,000 original miles. Since then, I've put about 7000 miles on it and have enjoyed every minute of it.

I actually like how he enhanced the look of the cab with the drying towel on the tea tray! ;-)

congrats on the new car...it looks very sharp and original. The fact that it had one owner is a rarity in itself.

all you need now is a third 911: a guards red coupe and your collection will be complete!

I will start searching for a guards red coupe next year to finish off the collection.
Also, I have a set of drying towels identical to the one in the picture for sale, just in case anyone wants to accent their tea tray to look like mine. A special price will be made to all that are interested. Email me for pricing
