Howdy,
Hey does anybody know or have experience with removing the leather interior panel that is against the engine firewall/bulkhead? I want to replace the engine sound deadening insulation panel on the engine side and want to tack weld on a couple of tabs that will protrude through the insulation and help hold it up (along with the contact cement that inevitably fails) and don't want to damage the leather interior panel. I can't seem to figure out how that interior panel comes out/off. Gary |

You mean the rear deck panel where the speakers are? If I recall, the rear deck panel is screwed on both ends bottom (left and right) not sure and is hooked on the center, please see illustration. once screws are out, lift the rear deck panel upwards to unhook it.
