X50 Option on 996s?
Just curious, what is it? Is it just the sport tuning option? For a while I thought it might be the GT2 Spec, but I'm not sure.

I believe this was touched upon in the last issue of Excellence. (Nov). The X51 for the 996 is an extra 25 hp and includes different pistons, cyls, heads valves/springs, cams, exhaust and a reprogramed ecu. Pricey for the benefit.
The X50 increases the power of the Turbo to "450hp and sustains 457 ft-lb of peak torque from 3500-4500rpm" (Vs415hp & 415ftlb.tq). X50 includes modifications to the turbochargers, air intake coolers, ecm, exhaust and a strengthened transmission.
